Our Story
Labrador Retrievers have been a part of our family since childhood, but our journey into the world of show dogs truly began in 1997—completely by accident. That first “show dog” sparked a passion for confirmation showing, and not long after, our first champion emerged.
Our foundation bitch, Chrissi, was a gift that literally landed in our laps. She was the daughter of World Champion Sandylands Rip Van Winkle, and her legacy was just beginning. Chrissi would go on to earn titles in three countries in addition to her American Championship, becoming Int. Ca. Mx. Am Champion Simbathes Vanni Golden Nugget.
Over the years, our dogs have achieved numerous accomplishments. Several of our puppies earned master hunt titles, and a few went on to become well-known champions in the show ring. Some of our proudest achievements, however, were outside of the show arena:
We provided a service dog to a quadriplegic gentleman, helping him manage daily tasks—including answering the phone.
Two of our dogs became avalanche search and rescue dogs at Taos Ski Resort in New Mexico.
One of our dogs trained in fast-water rescue during downtime from the slopes.
While we have produced many confirmation champions and titled hunters, the greatest joy comes from the puppies who become beloved family companions.
Our Philosophy
We breed for proper type, temperament, and health. Each litter is carefully planned after months of studying pedigrees to enhance the breed.
All of our dogs are genetically tested, with heart and eye clearances completed. Parents have OFA Good or Excellent hips and elbows, ensuring the next generation is strong and healthy.
Our puppies are raised in our home, surrounded by our grandchildren, and each puppy is hands-on from day one. This early socialization nurtures confident, friendly, and loving Labradors who thrive in their new families.
